Bulk Import Feature

You can register multiple users via CSV file format.

- Adding new users
      Please use the import CSV file format to create a CSV file.

- Adding registered users
     Export the list of registered users, edit and modify changes, and they can be used for CSV files for importing.

*Adding new users and editing existing users' information cannot be done at the same time.
*Please note that it requires certain period of time to connect all contacts within the organization, when huge amount of users are being registered at once. (Approx few days to connect 1,000 users)
You can though, send/receive messages even if the contact has not been established.
 
Import CSV file format
When you open the file, you can see the titles on the first row, and processing keywords on the second row. Please edit your user profile information from the third row.
*Please do not delete the first and second row, they are mandatory for the import process.

Importing values and privacy settings
You can set privacy settings for each items, by defining either "Contact" or "Public".

Contact  :  This will only be shared to users within your contact list.
Public  :  Anyone will be able to see this.


Item Format Example Description
Unique ID Number Ex) 12345678 This is an unique ID for registering existing users. This won't be required when adding new users.
Please do not change this unique ID.
Name
*Required
- Ex) Jason Barnes Names displayed on User list under Admin Settings page.
Only the administrator and him/her can see this.This is mandatory.
E-mail Address
(Login credential)

E-mail address format Ex) j_barnes@chatwork.com E-mail address used for login.
Only the administrator and him/her can see this.This is mandatory.

You can setup your preferred language.

All the emails that will be sent within your organization will be based on this language settings.

If this field is left blank, administrator's language preference will be applied.

Display name - Ex) Jason Barnes User name displayed to others.
If you leave this blank, "Name" will be displayed.
Organization name - Ex)  ChatWork Inc Organization name displayed on user profile pages.
If you leave this blank, organization name set by Admin Settings will be displayed.
Organization names set by each users will be prioritized over administrators'.
Privacy Settings for your Organization Name public or contact Ex)  public If you leave this blank, this will go public.
Dept/Division - Ex)  Sales Department This will be displayed on user profile pages.
Privacy Settings for your Dept/Division public or  contact Ex)  public If you leave this blank, this will go public.
Title - Ex)  Manager This will be displayed on user profile pages.

You can set a different e-mail address, other than the e-mail address used for login.

Other people will be able to call you via Skype.
This will be ignored when 3rd party service profiles registration is not permitted.

Facebook Facebook user name format Ex)  kcw_barnes Facebook user name displayed on profile pages.
This will be ignored when 3rd party service profiles registration is not permitted.

Twitter Twitter user name format Ex)  kcw_barnes Twitter user name displayed on profile pages.
This will be ignored when 3rd party service profiles registration is not permitted.

Allow your profile to show up in search results 0 or 1 Ex)  1 You can choose whether this user will show up on search results.
If yes, enter "1". If not, enter "0".
