Setting up E-mail notifications for unread messages

Unread message notification is: receiving an E-mail sent to the E-mail address if you have a chat that remains unread for a predetermined amount of time.
It is recommended that you use this function if you will not be accessing Chatwork frequently, if you will be out for a while, or similar situations.

Configuring E-mail notifications

Clicking on [Your name] in the in the upper right of the chat window will display the menu tab [Preferences] → [Notifications] → in the lower section of the page [Notify me about unread chats by email], select the desired amount of time and click the [Save] button.

For example, by setting the option to [Every 3 hours], you will be notified by E-mail every three hours of any unread chats.

- Every 24 hours
- Every 12 hours
- Every 6 hours
- Every 3 hours
- Every 2 hours
- Every 1 hours (default setting)


* If, even after setting them up, you do not receive E-mail notifications in your inbox, please first check that they are not being sent to your spam folder.

* If you are logged in on Chatwork and leave your browser window open, you will not receive E-mail notifications.

Turning off E-mail notifications

Clicking on [Your name] in the in the upper right of the chat window will display the menu tab [Personal Settings] → [Notifications] → Uncheck in the lower section of the page[Notify me about unread chats by email] and click the [Save] button.
