How is data backed up?

Data is backed up via real-time incremental backups and periodic full backups.

Incremental backups store data for a total of 35 days. Backup data can be restored from any time within those 35 days.

The backed up data is stored on the extremely secure Amazon S3 service.
Amazon S3 stretches over multiple facilities and the data is written multiple times, so that within any given year, the system is designed to have the extremely high retention rate of 99.999999999%.
