07/29/2024 - Introduction of Contact Limit on Free Plans FAQ

From August 29, 2024, we will be introducing a contact limit for users on the free plan when connecting with users outside their organization.

This page provides FAQs regarding the changes to our services.

What happens if I already have contacts with more than 20 people?

Rest assured, you can continue using your current contacts.
However, from August 29 onwards, you will not be able to make new contact requests or approvals.

What are internal and external contacts within an organization?
How can I check my current number of contacts?

Please refer to "Number of Contacts" for more information.

Does the limit of 20 contacts include "pending approval" or "unapproved" contacts?

No, it does not.
The limit only applies to the number of contacts listed in the "Contacts List" where both parties have approved the connection.

Furthermore, if a contact is deleted or if the other party leaves Chatwork, they will be removed from the "Contacts List."

What happens if I receive a new contact request after I have reached the limit?

When you tap the approve button, a message will be displayed stating, "You have reached the limit and cannot approve this request."
