Chatwork allows you to connect with others and start interacting with them through messages.

To connect with someone you know, you need to send them a Chatwork contact request.

You can link your Google Contacts when registering an account and send a contact request to the registered email addresses of people in your Google Contacts.
*Please note that linking your Google Contacts during account registration is only available for free plans.

Steps

1. Select "Connect via Google Contacts" on the "Welcome to Chatwork" page.

2. Give Chatwork permission to link to your Google account.

3. Select the person you wish to connect with on Chatwork from your Google Contacts list.

4. Select "Connect with ● people."

   a.*● indicates the number of people you have selected.

5. A contact request will be sent to the people you have selected.

How it works

The information sent to the recipient is as follows.

• If they already have a Chatwork account:
  

  • A notification of the contact approval request will be sent to the recipient's Chatwork account.

  • An email about the contact approval request will be sent to the recipient's email address registered with Chatwork.
    
    

• If they do not have a Chatwork account:
  

  • An invitation email to Chatwork will be sent to the recipient's email address.
