[Important] Notice of Specification Changes Due to Security Enhancements

To help prevent impersonation, phishing scams, and other types of abuse, and to provide a safer communication environment, Chatwork has implemented the following specification changes.

 

■ 1. Reporting feature from contact profile information (PC / desktop app)
To enable faster responses, the reporting process has been simplified.
You can now report inappropriate activity directly by selecting “Report this account” at the bottom of the profile information in Contact Management.

 

■ 2. Shorter automatic cancellation period for unapproved contact requests
To maintain the health of the platform, the period for unattended requests has been shortened.
If the recipient takes no action after a contact request is sent, the automatic cancellation period has been reduced from 180 days to 30 days.

 

■ 3. Restrictions on URL usage in contact requests and email invitation messages
To prevent inappropriate redirection to external websites and provide a safer environment for approving requests, URLs can no longer be entered or sent in the optional message field when sending contact requests or email invitations.
